Cleaning Green
Use
Micro-fiber cloths, color coded for usage.
Always
spray product on the cloth, not on the surface to be cleaned
Use
Citrus oil to cut grease and leave a clean scent
Use
Lavender oil to provide a soothing relaxing scent
All-purpose cleaner: Mix 1/2 cup
vinegar, 1/4 cup baking soda (or 2 tsp Borax), and 1/2 gallon of
water.
Bathroom mold: Mix one part hydrogen peroxide with
two parts water.
Furniture polish: Mix a few drops of lemon oil with
1/2 cup of warm water.
Glass cleaner: Mix 2 tsp of white vinegar with one
quart of warm water.
Natural Cleaners
Baking soda: cleans, deodorizes, scours
Lemon: one of the strongest food acids, effective against
most household bacteria
Borax: cleans, deodorizes, and disinfects
White vinegar: cuts grease; removes mildew, odors,
and some stains and wax buildup
Cornstarch: cleans windows, polishes furniture
